10 must-have when you travel

So you’ve got your bus tickets in your hand or fixed up your travel plan?  We pack up all tight but tend to forget the essentials at the end of the moment. Some of us like to travel light and some like to carry their entire home with them (well almost!). It is always a great idea to travel light so you can be comfortable and at ease.
Make a quick list of essentials to carry. And this list certainly does not include 6 pairs of shoes and 8 different types of body lotions!
What to carry and what not to carry really depends on the how long you are planning to go, the destination, the weather and the number of people travelling.
Here is a list of ‘Must-Takes’ to help you when you are ‘on the go’.
1.    Wear the Gear
You must know how many pairs and what types of clothes to pack. Your entire selection depends on where you are going, what activities you are planning to do and how long the vacation is. Apart from a few comfy clothes carrying a swim suit, and a comfortable pair of sleepers or is highly recommended. Always place comfort over fashion and you will not regret it.

2.    Travel Docs
While travelling, the important documents must not be forgotten to bring and pack in your bags. For overseas, you need at least a passport, flight tickets and the required visa. Local trips would only include you transportation tickets either by plane or train. It is always a good idea to carry your driving license or ID and copies of travel insurance, you never know when the need would arise. When getting travel insurance, you should choose a plan that includes health on the coverage. This is the best recipe for some extra peace of mind!

3.    Money Matters
You need to have some cash and ATM, debit or credit cards whenever you spend a vacation overseas or within the country. Never forget to carry some cash handy. If you are one of those ‘perfect planners’ then it is good to have some planning of the amount of money you intend to spend on the trip.  Manage your money wisely.

4.    The DIGI Stuff
It is obvious that you will plan to take your camera along with you which by default means you shouldn’t forget to carry the extra memory for camera. Make sure you have packed the camera charger and also plug converter in case of international travel.

Laptops, iPads, mobile phones and MP3 players are also items you might bring to your holiday destination. Most vacationers find these things important during a vacation. If you bring battery-operated devices, you have to bring extra batteries and chargers or cables as well.

5.    Find Your Way
Always carry hotel info, directions and contact number .Going to a place for the first time is fun and adventurous but with proper information you may get lost along the way trying to find a specific landmark because you do not have any map at all. Which makes maps and travel guides also must haves.

6.    First Aid Needs
Carry a first aid kit for just in case, especially when you are travelling with kids.  You can now climb the mountain and go for a bike race or do whatever adventure sports that you want without worrying.

7.    Read and Relax
If you are one of those book buffs then nothing great than grabbing a good book and unwinding.

8.    Playing it Away
While travelling with friends or with family board games and card games can be good fun. Play games depending upon the number of people travelling and that help everyone unwind!

9.    Sunny or Rainy – Be Prepared
It is also necessary for you to carry stuff that can protect you against the sun and the rain. If you go to a beach have a bottle of sunscreen lotion to avoid getting tanned. Sunglasses, umbrella and raincoat are also essentials.

10.    Knicks and Knacks
Knicks and knacks like a travel pack of anti-bacterial wipes, some zip-lock bags, all sizes, a notebook (for a quick jot down of travel adventures), important phone numbers are always welcome

Now that you have a tight list that would just make your packing task a lot easier, all you now got to do it grab your bus tickets or go get on your plan to where-ever!!
