·         First off, if you live in a city, there will probably be a diverse crowd of people riding the bus

It helps to have an open mind to whoever you meet on the ride. Keep in mind that some people will be friendly and some won’t

·         Know your bus

The front seats are reserved for seniors and disabled people. The bus driver may not say anything if you sit down in front, but be prepared to give up your seat if an angry old man or woman demand you for it. If you see someone who is disabled getting on the bus, give the seat to them.

·         When you get on the bus, try to have the exact amount of money needed for a ride

That is if anyone tries to start a fight, just get up and go to the front of the bus. It depends what kind of situation you are in. Sometimes bus drivers won't do anything to help you, sometimes they might intervene. If going in the front doesn't help, get off the bus. Not entertaining such situations and reacting to them calmly or rather ignoring it all together will help you get out of the situation and would also shut the other person up.
